There's a rumor going aroung that rapper Shawty Lo was on the losing side of an altercation in an Atlanta club last weekend. Reports have said the rapper's chain was stolen during a fight that broke out while fellow Atlanta rapper T.I.'s song "What's Up" was playing. The track is known to have lyrics that target Shawty Lo.
“A couple of dudes from my Bowen Homes hood got into it with some
other dudes from Bowen Homes,” Shawty Lo told AllHipHop.
“It really wasn’t nothing, just some Bowen Homes sh*t. It wasn’t an
altercation with me at all. I didn’t get touched, period. And this had
nothing to do with TI.”
The D4L founder will reportedly address the situation further with an online video this week. In fact, Shawty Lo has done his best to discredit T.I.'s rap persona by creating a series of videos investigating Tip's background.
According to AllHipHop, both
rappers maintain that they are not interested in escalating their
conflict beyond the music and have even shared the stage together at such events at Hot 107.9's Birthday Bash in Atlanta without incident.
