A woman was trampled at a Three 6 Mafia concert on Wednesday as a crowd rushed out of the House of Blues in West Hollywood, reports Los Angeles Fox News affiliate/Channel 11 KTTV.

Authorities say the concert-goer was hospitalized Thursday for a leg injury, possibly a fracture after a fight broke out inside the music hall.

The fight, which involved some security personnel, happened around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, just as a concert by the rap group was ending at the venue on Sunset Blvd., said Lt. Lawrence Delmese of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's West Hollywood Station.

The altercation then "spilled over outside, and some deputies were involved," Delmese said, adding that it was unclear whether any civilians were injured in the actual brawl. No deputies were hurt, he said. Deputies from surrounding jurisdictions rushed to the area to assist in crowd control.

Upon arrival, the sheriff's deputies arrested two men as the area was being cleared --one on an outstanding warrant, the other for public drunkenness, said the lieutenant.

A stretch of Sunset Blvd. was shut down in both directions during the post-brawl investigation, which wrapped up around 1:20 a.m.

Three 6 Mafia is an Academy Award winning rap group, who won an Oscar at the 78th Academy Awards for Best Original Song for its 2005 song, "It's Hard out Here for a Pimp" from the soundtrack of "Hustle & Flow."
