Do we need other black leaders...YES. Nothing against Sharpton, because his voice is needed, but we need someone who is a little more palatable to the rest of the world. Where is the next Martin or Malcolm - someone who not only speaks eloquently, but can reach out to young people and have them stand up for what they believe in. I know Obama is a good guy, but he should be the next president, we need someone on the local levels. But I guess the ones that are out there are afraid, because effective black leaders don't have long life expectencies.
